My husband is a legal citizen who has a green card. He pays his taxes and is a better than average citizen in our community. But he can’t vote. He has no say over how his tax money is spent or used. Plus he can not use public benefits, like welfare, food stamps, etc.

Heck, no. Illegals should in no way, shape, or form, get benefits from their illegal actions, and most certainly shouldn’t get the right to vote. It’s bad enough that illegal aliens are counted in our Census and therefore influence the distribution of Congressional seats in favor of illegal-alien-heavy states.
If illegal aliens really want those things you mention, then there’s a simply solution–get in line back in your home country and apply to come here legally.

SS Benefits…..There are no plans to give SS Benefits to illegals, so that’s a question that can’t be answered….if I’m wrong, please provide your source.
License….YES! they should get driver’s licenses because without them, they cannot get Auto insurance, so that makes all our rates sky rocket. Without a license, they cannot open up bank accounts, so they carry more cash, and that means more chances of them being mugged…..it’s contributing to violence on our streets. With a bank account, they spend and keep their money here.
