Can I get survivors benefits from social security?

I am widow and going to apply for survivors benefits. They are requesting a copy of my husbands last w-2 which is 18 years ago and I do not have it. He was recieving social security benefits when he died 10 years ago. Will they have his records on file? I am supposed to recieve round 27% of what he was getting.

Its been 7 months and i still haven’t received social security benefits, what should i do?

does recieving disability benefits from an employer have anything to do with social security benefits?
